Obesity is the abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat in the body.
Obesity, which is a very common disease, makes life difficult for about 700 million people today.
In addition, obesity brings many diseases. These include diabetes, sleep apnoea, heart disease, insulin resistance, hyperlipidaemia, osteoarthritis, respiratory diseases, coronary artery disease and many types of cancer (gallbladder, endometrial, ovarian and breast cancer, colon cancer and prostate cancer).
It has been observed that people who recover from obesity not only have an improved quality of life or reduced psychological discomfort, but also have a life expectancy of 15 to 20 years.
